I was just sworn in as the new U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Texas—the chief federal law enforcement officer and lawyer for 43 counties and over 10 million Texans, from Houston to the Rio Grande Valley.
My office will relentlessly combat violent crime, illegal immigration, drug and human trafficking, corruption, and fraud. We will faithfully uphold the Rule of Law and protect the public with the energy and commitment the American people demanded when they elected President Trump. Planned times are: Fort Worth 5:57 PM, Bedford 6:07 PM, Grapevine 6:08:40 PM, Flower Mound 6:15 PM, Frisco 6:17:23 PM, Plano 6:18:56 PM (brief hold), Highland Park 6:25 PM, Dallas 6:25:41 PM, Arlington 6:28:34 PM, Keller 6:31:19 PM, and finish at Fort Worth at 6:38:14 PM. Be outside a few minutes early because flyover times can shift slightly.

During this day of celebration, please take time today to remember and say an additional prayer for the Heaven’s 27 lost in the Camp Mystic flooding. One year later, the pain remains, but so does our faith. We pray for the families who carry this unimaginable loss every day and ask God to surround them with His peace and strength. May God bless their memories forever. We remember.

This July 4th marks one year since Texas suffered one of the greatest tragedies in our state’s history. Today, we remember and honor the 139 lives lost in the devastating Hill Country floods. God bless the brave first responders who answered the call, and may He watch over the families who continue to grieve. Please join me in praying for the Central Texas community asking for God’s continued comfort, healing, and strength.

I have officially resigned my seat as the Representative for House District 93. I am tremendously proud of the work we’ve been able to accomplish over the last two sessions. Serving the people of Ft.
