Just a friendly reminder that lessons don’t make you better. You putting in the work AFTER the lessons is when you’ll see results. We can’t “fix” you, but we can give you the tools/drills & knowledge for you to help yourself!

𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲. By the end of the regular season, 30 of our 32 games will have been in front of a sold-out crowd or broken a venue attendance record. #Hawkeyes

Posted on Insta first, but still! Draws are cool, and you SHOULD be able to hit it both ways, but that doesn’t mean it should be your stock shot. Sometimes your body wants to do things a certain way, and we just need to get the mind to allow it. Flood gates opened..

Lagging indicator goals are a results of the leading indicators. Your habits create your outcome. Create better habits (leading indicators) and you’ll have a better outcome (lagging indicators).

Great goals message from a student here. Many times when we set goals, we set lagging indicator goals. “I want to shoot X score.” Instead of leading indicator goals. “I want to practice 3 times per week and play once. Minimum of 1.5 hours of short game practice”

Rare face on view of driver. This is actually only the 2nd one of these I've ever taken 😂 Working on getting my hips centered more toward my lead leg especially in transition to use my lead leg more to rotate effectively. The left foot jump is just coming out Work in progress!

Give this advice all the time! But it’s not just for people trying to shoot under par! If you’re trying to break 90 or 100, MOVE UP! Learn how to score and get comfortable shooting the numbers that you want. Then move back!
Jamie Kennedy@jamierkennedy

Tonight I’m taking Bryson’s advice and trying this at my home course. Instead of the usual 6700 yards, we’re moving up to 5700 to see if we can actually go low (or lower). Will report back…

@McLeanGolf What about this? I know it’s in the rough but I have ended up here before. Played 2 balls in from here and made par on both 🤷🏼‍♂️😂 One was just a bit harder

Some golf people actually talking about taking your ball out of a divot?? Really?? How big of a divot? Where would you draw the line? We have been playing out of divots since golf began. Perfect lies are not part of golf. Stupid idea!! Try playing at 95% of all golf courses!!

@McLeanGolf I can’t say that I’ve ever been in a situation wondering if I’m in one or not. I understand the question and where do we draw the line, but can’t say I’ve ever been in question. Especially in the fairway.

Going to the range ≠ Practicing It’s possible to be at the range and not get better at all. Have a plan before you go.

🚨 DO YOUR DRILLS KIDS This long iron belongs to Scottie Scheffler. (One of the best ball-strikers in the game.) Notice how it has a formed grip on it. That formed grip ensures the user holds the club properly. 🔹Scottie uses this in warm-up before play🔹 So, if one of the best strikers in the game uses this to nail down a fundamental like the grip perhaps you should be diligent enough to check on basics like Grip, Alignment, Ball Position and Aim. #justsaying #fundamentals #golf #golftips #golfinstruction #golftipsdaily #golflife #golfswing #golftwitter

It’s natural to be a little fearful when you play golf. One thing that’s helped me is trying to always put things in perspective. Honestly, what’s the worst thing that can happen? Hit it OB? Chunk it? Top it? It’s just golf, you’ll be fine 😉 😜
