BY THE WAY, I said this before but I don’t mind repeating. The quality of elected leaders in luo Nyanza will drastically drop if we don’t address the use of GOONS in politics. We cannot have a community where the first thing anyone thinking of vying for any elective post considers is where do I get GOONS not what best ideas to put forward. Try attending a funeral over the weekends, it is total chaos. The elected leaders have GOONS, nearly every aspirant too has GOONS. How will we attract the best minds that can propel the community? And saddest part is that we are condoning it. We are celebrating it. We are giving them prescribed smiles and raised glasses.
