The Birth Of a Serial killer No figure in the eastern realms is more feared — or more whispered about — than Umildrouck Koboldbrewer. Once a simple brewer deep in the kobold tunnels, Umildrouck vanished after a mining collapse buried his outpost. Weeks later, he walked out alone, pickaxe in hand, muttering a new name: It. From that day forward, the killings began. He doesn’t murder for coin. Or revenge. Or power. He kills because the pick tells him to. It comes to him in flashes — names, faces, directions etched in blood behind his eyes. Some say it speaks to him in his sleep. Others believe he never sleeps at all. He stalks the Yellow Setting, the lawless edge of the kingdom, where the sky is always sickly, and the wind carries the stench of iron. Villages that once thrived now rot under his legend. Those who try to flee are found days later — teeth removed, hearts missing, their corpses laid in neat rows like some kind of ritual offering. And yet, there’s always a pattern. A reason. His victims have histories — hidden sins, sealed records, buried crimes. Somehow, he knows. He digs up what others bury. With the pick. That eye scar of his? Not a battle wound. He carved it himself, they say — during a moonless night — to give the pick “a better view.” His armor is stolen. His cape? Taken from the corpse of a royal bounty hunter who swore he’d end the killings. Now it’s part of the myth. He’s not just a murderer. He’s a mythical executioner. A walking judgment.

Emberhall – The realm of fire and rebellion, tied to forgotten elemental pacts. Goldmere – Lavish, opulent, and politically complex—where gold and betrayal flow hand in hand. Veilreach – Shrouded in mist and secrecy, home to dwarves aligned with arcane forces. Grimgate – Borders the underworld—a harsh outpost keeping evil forces at bay. Runebarrow – Sacred crypts and ancestral lore, where the past whispers to the present. Skycleft – High altitude peaks, eagle riders, and bold adventurers. Duskridge – Known for spies, assassins, and dark dealings beneath a noble surface. Shardspire – The newest and most contested realm, built on the edge of ancient chaos.
