Gillum actually did worse than Sink and Crist in 2010 and 2014 when you account for the red year and turnout dynamic. Gillum’s race had nothing to do with it. He was under ethics investigations and ended the campaign without spending $3 MILLION dollars
@KingObi Not sure either of them deserve blame. Donors made a decision to go build something outside the party and this basic party infrastructure only existed when a presidential built it. That and people who thought telling Florida Hispanics that socialism was a good idea.

NEW — Florida’s proposed gerrymander would significantly strengthen the GOP map based on 2020 presidential results. Multiple Biden-won districts would flip to Trump-won territory, including FL-09 and FL-14. FL-22 and FL-25 go from deep blue to purple based on 2020 results.
