amzn.to/3Pee9IS I am thrilled to share that I have completed a project I’ve been passionate about for some time—a short book/guide aimed at assisting individuals who are considering a run for office. I have a deep commitment to working with first-time candidates, and I hope this guide provides valuable insights and encouragement as they start to navigate this journey. #BookLaunch #FirstTimeCandidates #PoliticalGuide #KindleUnlimited

What we are witnessing from the Trump Administration and the Republicans in Congress is a blatant attempt to steal an election, a blatant attempt to take power, a blatant attempt to take from you for the benefit of them. This has to stop. This isn't what this country is about! Thank you to all who attended the Candidates Forum this past week in Amelia Island.

I’m glad you are doing this Vince. People want to rewrite history on here everyday. .

It’s always striking how much bullshit gets directed at the Black man who came closest to winning the governor’s race in decades—yet far less for those he outperformed. @AndrewGillum outperformed every Democratic gubernatorial nominee in modern Florida history. That’s a fact, whether it fits your narrative or not. God forbid we had one person of color try. We will never hear the end of it. FL Gov (D) results: ’98 MacKay −10.6 (44.7–55.3) ’02 McBride −12.9 (43.2–56.0) ’06 Davis −7.1 (45.1–52.2) ’10 Sink −1.2 (47.7–48.9) ’14 Crist −1.0 (47.1–48.1) ’18 Gillum −0.4 (49.2–49.6) ’22 Crist −19.4 (40.0–59.4)

You probably right but that is not the case on here. I see everyday people blaming Gillum for losing by 10000 voted but nothing for Charlie having the worst loss in history of Florida politics.
Steve Schale@steveschale

@KingObi Not sure either of them deserve blame. Donors made a decision to go build something outside the party and this basic party infrastructure only existed when a presidential built it. That and people who thought telling Florida Hispanics that socialism was a good idea.

On redistricting, check out the poll in today's Sunburn: Nearly nine in 10 voters (89%) said they would be less likely to support a state Senator who “voted to pass a redistricting plan designed to elect more Republicans to Congress,” including 79% who said “much less likely.”

NEW — 2020 presidential results in key districts in the new Florida map. The map is highly aggressive and pretty risky for 2026. It is probably very effective in 2028 if there is a more neutral environment where the house is close, though there is still some risk.

NEW — Florida’s proposed gerrymander would significantly strengthen the GOP map based on 2020 presidential results. Multiple Biden-won districts would flip to Trump-won territory, including FL-09 and FL-14. FL-22 and FL-25 go from deep blue to purple based on 2020 results.
