@Trivia582 @TW0HEADEDBEAST iirc Falco left Star Fox with his Arwing. It was at the end of the “Farewell, Beloved Falco” comic, which was a tie-in for Adventures.

Starfox adventures shows them using Arwings that are beat to hell, the GreatFox is beat to hell, it even introduces the team with Slippy repairing Rob. StarFox Assault starts with the team fully funded a year or so after Adventures. New Arwings, new Refitted GreatFox. They ram GreatFox into the Aparoid planet, so StarFox Command shows a new carrier and a new model of Arwing. Saving the ENTIRE Lylat system probably wound up lucrative, with them paid to do interviews and talkshows. They had individualized ships in Command.

At the end of 64, he’s offered a place in the Cornerian army, and he literally tells Pepper, “we’d rather do things our way.“
