Codex just launched one of the coolest features - Appshots. by pressing both CMD keyboard buttons, context of whatever app you're on gets sent to Codex, including screenshots and text. you might be thinking "isn't this the same as screenshotting and pasting it", and no it isn't. Appshots also pass in context from the app that isn't visible on the screen. For example if you're viewing a Google Doc and take an appshot, it passes in text that's scrolled offscreen as well. along with this release, OpenAI made remote Codex still work even while your laptop screen is locked, so you can leave your laptop on 24/7 at home, safely, while you code from your phone. highly recommend trying out the Codex app - so many features that don't exist elsewhere yet and the app is just delightful to use

every AI coding app needs the same level of Computer Use + Chrome control that the Codex app has, it's legit too useful, you can literally get it to help configure/edit/set up anything on your laptop

@kukicola i haven’t tried that in a while but codex’s one doesn’t take control of your browser, it just uses tabs in the background. how does claude’s one work?

@kr0der When I go to BugBot in my account dashboard it is asking me to enable usage based billing. Not sure how you're locking in unlimited BugBot

had to lock in the annual Cursor sub before Bugbot uses usage-based billing, it's too good 🫡

@OliwierMako @kostasbotonakis i have mine in the AGENTS.md too and it never fails to run the checks

If AGENTS.md already says it, hooks may not save much on the first pass. The value is that hooks don’t rely on the agent remembering. AGENTS.md = guidance hooks = enforcement Token-wise, the win comes when hooks produce small pass/fail outputs and prevent long recovery loops, missed checks, or bad commits. Noisy hooks can cost more. Tight hooks save attention.

@kr0der Post tool use - lint and format with autofix enabled. Why wait for the agent to run lint commands when you can trigger them automatically?
