Hearing unconfirmed reports that Moore Large is now in administration. If so, huge shock as was only refinanced last year after MBO. Company sprang from bike shop opened by John Moore in 1947.

@JoeLavo Too many people, taking too much from it has killed it. How many pro riders / team do you think the U.K. road scene can sustain? Why keep trying for so many more than MTB or e-bikes?

JLT-Condor, Madison-Genesis, and now this. You can add the Tour Series and TDY to the list too. The scene is officially dead and I challenge anyone to argue that. Feel very sorry for all the riders and staff. The bike racing world can be very shitty.

@VeloUK How success is defined is perhaps the problem. Winning races in the U.K. clearly doesn’t = paying the bills. What is the priority? How do we change that to ensure sustainable racing? Do we need multiple UCI road teams?

Special moments for Tim Elverson's team - winning the Tour Series in 2019 and having the leader's jersey (& other jerseys!) in the Tour of Britain in 2022. For a team so successful, it's a huge shame they have folded. Hopefully, a new sponsor will come along to rescue them!
