Night Dive's programmer extraordinaire @SVKaiser has been working with the Dark Forces community to improve Mod support for Dark Forces Remastered.
Various texture and INF game logic bugs have already been ironed out on a beta branch.

One of the best features of the new Dark Forces Remaster is the inclusion of the cut ISD Avenger level. Its map featured on the game box taunted a generation of players, and it is now playable after almost 30 years!
Kudos to LuciusDXL who helped convert it to a playable format.

This one is special. Back in 1995 I *begged* my parents for a game console and even though they never relented they did buy me Dark Forces the day we brought home our first PC. Little did I know that Kyle Katarn's adventures would lead me here a mere 29 years later.

Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II (LucasArts) was released 25 years ago today. From Nar Shaddaa to the Valley of the Jedi, what an adventure!
It was also the last LucasArts game with FMV (Full Motion Video) cutscenes.
