We are in the midst of a Spiritual battle. Only the Gospel can save us. The godless, demonic views of the world are savagely attacking those who trust in & follow Christ. But Jesus told us to be ready for this. Matthew 10:22: “You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.” John 15:18-20: “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. They will treat you this way because of my name.” These verses tell us that we should expect to be hated, reviled against, and for those who hate the Truth to lash out violently against it. But as followers of Christ, our reaction should be one of the love of Jesus Christ, and the zealous mission to spread the message of His Word. The Gospel changes hearts and minds. The only solution to the darkness in the world is the Light of Jesus Christ. Our world is a fallen world, and these recent attacks are a result of Mankind's sinful heart - which only God can restore. These heartbreaking moments should strengthen our resolve, and encourage us to fight HARDER against the darkness with the Light of the Gospel message. God changes hearts and minds. Fight evil with the Truth of Jesus Christ.
