#2 Annie at RQ Sydney. Finished 9-4. Some thoughts about the list (long read): - Has game vs every matchup, obliterates inexperienced players, can maneuver through almost any scenario vs experienced players as well. - Went second way more than first this event, Annie felt like one of the decks that just felt totally fine if I'm forced to go second. - Annie legend ability is essentially frontloading you with extra energy in the early to mid game. Helps you go on the offensive easily while protecting your units, opens up energy cheat (khazix/rengar), easy access to early counter spells while not losing tempo. (There was a game an aurora bro insta casted their ramp without asking for response after I played 2 drop pass but they forgot I had access to counter spells even while developing with max energy). The longer the games go, the less good the Annie legend ability is as you do run out of cards to even utilize the spare energy you get, thankfully this meta most games don't go that long. - Fight winning. Tons of might battles this meta. Its unavoidable. Khazix was mvp going second while not hindering your "god curve" (t1 2 drop into t2 push in play Khazix kill anything, t3 forerunner). As mentioned earlier Khazix/Rengar can also be played for only 2 or 1 real energy in Annie, further adding to the whole "frontload" idea with this deck. On this note I noticed Annie was 1/11 vs Irelia in this event. I was the 1 (albeit, small sample size). In testing beating Irelia involved getting to 6 points fast and then closing out the final fight with an immense amount of might. Again, Khazix. Defy being such a winning card in green decks now makes bouncing Irelia for the game winning push not realistic. Just out might them. - Vi had one job and she did it one time. Vs Irelia/Yi. Did the whole Vi Ride the Wind combo zero times. Vi just sat in base as a threat to be pushed in manually to threaten a response from the opponent or wipe out their entire battlefield for 2 energy. She's still debatable in the list, even now. - I want my second Long Sword back. This was a mistake on my part. Need my second Long Sword back - 1 Noxus Hopeful. Stacked Deck into Noxus going second happens only about 8% of the time assuming 3 copies in deck. Did not miss the card much. Going second 2 drop pass with 3 energy up for Rengar is vastly superior. The one scenario Noxus is really good is on turn 3 2+4 energy for a might dump. - Sideboard stuff. Brynhir added in as 8th card but paid off vs rogue strategies/holding decks. Falling Star unused whole weekend. Its good vs Diana but i feel favored even without it. Could easily be something else. Acceptable Losses and Switcheroo mvp. Still a little under the weather after just returning home but I plan to make a video deck profile for the deck soon. All questions appreciated. Hope you guys enjoy the list.

Who will I see at the Riftbound Regional Qualifier: Barcelona? Happy I got a ticket, have a lot of catching up to do after not playing since set 1. Let me know if you are down to jam games, answer dumb questions, and help me get caught up.

Finished 8-3-1 17th/271 overall at @Hideoutcg Pre Pre Singapore RQ event. Won best Annie at the event as well. Rd 1 vs Lillia WW (go 2nd) Rd 2 vs Tempo Leblanc LWD (go 2nd) Rd 3 vs Azir WW (go 2nd) Rd 4 vs Yi LWL (go 2nd) Rd 5 vs Yi WW (go 2nd) Rd 6 vs Diana WW (go 2nd) Rd 7 vs Vex WW (go 1st omgthankgodespeciallyforthis matchup) Rd 8 vs Hook Leblanc WW (go 1st) Rd 9 vs Diana LL (go 2nd g1 no turn one play) Rd 10 vs Hook Leblanc @arisresonance WLW (go 2nd) Rd 11 vs Draven LWL (go 1st, i threw but they also played well) Rd 12 vs Ezreal WLW (go 2nd) Being able to consistently win going second is such a key factor when choosing a deck to main right now. Should be trying my hand at Diana for next week's win a case event. Deck list as follows. triple Cleave and Switcheroo mainboard overperformed. Also I need to buy better dice.

@Maxzzie @Hideoutcg I like Apoc but didn't have enough reps with it (never ran it in my other versions) + space issues. Switcheroo main giga overperformed. Yi almost never has Not So Fast mainboarded so it wins hard in game 1

Also top 1 Singapore ranking rn. Not a very accurate representation as this includes bo1 casual Nexus nights as well. We'll see a clearer picture once skirmishes come into play here in Set 4

Won a case. Played Annie. As Prismat would say, no bad matchups only bad pilots. @CCGSmith
