Casting director Nina Gold says the next James Bond actor she’s looking for must "ooze sex appeal." He should also "be young enough to play him in three or four, or more pictures." (deadline.com/2026/05/the-ne…)

SUMMER COLOR COMBOS ( save for later).
- Navy + white
Dark denim, white tee, navy sweater, white linen shirt. Hard to mess up.
- Light blue + cream
Feels expensive. Looks expensive.
- White + white
I don’t think white parties are a thing anymore, but this combo still rocks. Esp linen on linen.
- Brown + sky blue (my fave!!!). Very underrated summer combination. Think tobacco loafers, faded blue oxford, tan shorts.
- Chocolate + ecru
More elevated than black and white in summer. Softer contrast. Think dark brown on top, slightly off white denim or trousers.
Sage green + off-white
- FRESH. Easy coastal feeling without looking overly “beachy.”
- Faded red + khaki
Very East Coast summer vibes. Looks better slightly washed out rather than bright red.
- Black + cream
Just an easy classic combo.
- Navy + olive
Masculine!! Looks especially good when textures are involved. Think denim shirts and fatigue pants.
- Charcoal + white
Great for city summer dressing!!
- Tan + white
Works bc it mirrors natural summer tones. Think white linen tops and tan shorts or loose trousers.

Steve McQueen “King of Cool” in all my favorite things. Leather jacket. Denim + white tee. Long sleeve button up!! (Still superior.) And a little black + brown combo (love mixing black and brown). This man was an icon before icons were icons. He wore battered leather and chunky knits and three piece suits. Staples!! Effortless. Timeless.

The ss button up research continues as I study Jude Law in The Talented Mr. Ripley. Couple things. The knit options give the look texture. I like that. Unbuttoned / half buttoned is good. If you’re going to do cotton, wear a pant. I like some options from Spier & Mackay, Todd Synder, Frame, and Orlebar Brown. Results still inconclusive as this IS Jude Law. Will continue to report my findings from the field.
