The Los Angeles Police Department, California Highway Patrol, USC Department of Public Safety, Los Angeles Fire Department, and Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum are actively conducting an Active Shooter Preparedness training exercise today,

⚠️Unlawful Assembly⚠️ The Incident Commander has declared an Unlawful Assembly. A Dispersal Order has been issued to all persons on Alameda between Temple and Aliso/Commercial. You must leave the area or be subject to arrest per 409 PC. Leave Southbound Alameda from Temple or Eastbound on Commercial from Alameda.

⚠️Community Advisory⚠️ Officers have arrested a suspect who was allegedly using a sling shot to shoot hard metal objects at officers who were standing on the line.

⚠️Community Advisory⚠️ 1st St and Alameda. A Dispersal Order was issued and as Officers began to move the line, agitators in the coward began to throw water bottles and other objects at the officers resulting in less than lethal munitions being deployed. Arrests have been made.

⚠️Community Advisory⚠️ Much of the demonstration has dispersed, however, a small group of agitators remains in the area. Alameda between 1st St and Aliso will remain closed. Additional DISPERSAL ORDERS are being issued to those who remain at Alameda and 1st St. You have 5 minutes to disperse.

⚠️Community Advisory⚠️ Arrests of violent agitators are now being made after several dispersal orders were issued. Alameda between Aliso and 1st St remains closed due to demonstrators failing to disperse.

⚠️Community Advisory⚠️ Protestors are actively fighting with Officers after multiple dispersal orders were issued. Metropolitan Division is now on scene. Less than lethal has been authorized due to the violence against officers.

⚠️Community Advisory⚠️ Officers continue to gain compliance after the dispersal order was issued, however, protestors continue to remain and throw bottles and rocks at the officers.

⚠️DISPERSAL ORDER⚠️ A DISPERSAL ORDER has been issued by the Incident Commander of the Los Angeles Police Department. All protesters in the area of Alameda between Union Station and 1st St have 10 minutes to leave or you may be arrested per 409 PC.

Due to multiple large groups of protestors traffic is significantly impacted near Alameda St & 1st St. Please avoid the area. Updates to follow as conditions change.
