Western Dreamer, winner of the 1997 Little Brown Jug, recently passed at the age of 32. He was retired from racing after his six-year-old season and served as a Standardbred ambassador at the Kentucky Horse Park.

Today in Little Brown Jug History....January 1, 1933. Driver Glen Garnsey was born. He piloted Fan Hanover, the only filly to win the LBJ, to victory in 1981.
