VIX is now at its lowest level since Q1 2025. Low VIX means there's no fear in the market, but here's something that is interesting. Historically, when VIX has stayed at historically low levels, a spike has happened. With FOMC and triple witching expiration coming, I think VIX could spike if Powell sounds hawkish due to rising CPI.
