La Habra City School District is proud to celebrate the artistic achievements of students from @MrsWu_K6Art art classes, whose work has been selected for recognition in the OC Arts 4 All Student Art Showcase. This honor highlights not only the creativity and talent of our students, but also the exceptional instruction and dedication provided by Mrs. Wu. We are especially proud to share that 51 students from Ladera Palma, El Cerrito, Arbolita, and Sierra Vista were selected for the 2026 OC Arts 4 All Showcase, a recognition that celebrates outstanding student artists from across Orange County. Being selected for this showcase is a significant accomplishment, reflecting a high level of artistic expression and commitment to the arts. All students with selected artwork will receive a certificate and will have the opportunity to hear directly from the student art selection team about their work. We are incredibly proud of these students and the way they represent our district through their creativity and hard work. Beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, all Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten (K) classes in the La Habra City School District will be full-day programs. This expansion creates more time for meaningful learning and deeper connections to build a strong academic and social foundation. With a full day, students will engage in enriched instruction, hands-on exploration, and purposeful play that builds both academic skills and social confidence. We are incredibly proud of Sebastian Ro, our Washington Middle School representative at the @OCDeptofEd Bee. Sebastian successfully passed the written round and has advanced to the oral competition. His hard work, focus, and determination truly reflect the excellence we strive for across our district. Advancing to the final round is a tremendous accomplishment, and we celebrate the dedication that brought him to this moment. Sebastian will compete in the final round this Saturday. Reina began her career with LHCSD in 2001 and has served our community in multiple roles, from Kid Zone to primary grades at Las Lomas, and now as a beloved Kindergarten teacher at Sierra Vista.
