@ianoliver1979 (1/2) Hello, Ian. Adding a node to your Linksys Mesh network doesn't have to be the same model. The Linksys MX4200 is compatible with all Linksys Intelligent Mesh routers and Velop product lines.

@LinksysCares hi, I have a mx4200 router. If I wanted to add another node to my system does it have to be the same model number? Or are they all compatible with each other? I was looking at an AX5400, would this work?

@Linksys I was going to purchase your linksys E8350, then I read about you forcing the owner to make an online account before they can use the router. That changed my mind, I am reviewing other routers now.

@LinksysCares Buenas tardes necesito ayuda olvide la contraseña y cuando busque restablecer contraseña me pide que busque en la parte inferior del ruter la clave de recuperación y no hay nada solo la contraseña antigua que trae Pero no de recuperación

@Tabris172015 Do you mean to say that it’s the same issue with accessing locally using 192.168.1.1, or myrouter.local? What’s the exact model and the serial number of your Linksys router so we can check?
