Having proven it can green its economy at a record pace, India has now forfeited the home stage to showcase its renewable energy triumphs, electric mobility revolution, and more. "By stepping back, New Delhi also loses a critical platform to champion the Global South—failing to replicate the leadership of its G20 presidency at a time when the global climate narrative must be framed around the needs of the developing world. 3/3 😞 Several Advisory Board members expressed their disappointment with this outcome, though were willing to "live with it". 🙏 Leona Hollasch, co-chair, thanked AB members for the constructive discussions throughout the day and for the spirit of compromise. 🤝

2/3 🕊️ Other AB members stressed the concept is well-established and acts as an approach ("#DoNoHarm") rather than as a criteria. ❌ Ultimately, reference to "conflict-sensitivity" was dropped from the Results Framework.

1/2 🪖 The inclusion of "conflict-sensitivity" as a guiding principle of the SNLD's Results Framework was a contentious point that significantly delayed the day's agenda #SNAB6. ⏰ 💵💵 Some AB members feared the principle exceeded the SNLD’s scope and risked double‑accounting.

3/3 ✒️ @tetetlauron suggests adding a provision on “review of procedures” to the rules on observer participation, allowing reviews on observer engagement, & explicitly including the option to issue invitation letters. ✅ The suggestions are accepted, & the decision is adopted.🎉

2/3 🛑 Some AB members push back on visa support, citing workload concerns for the Sec't. 📧 The Sec't clarifies it is open to providing invitation letters, which is usually enough to get a visa (though we've seen that's not always the case: fr.de/politik/klimak…).

1/3 📄 #SNAB6 is currently discussing additional observer participation procedures. 👏 Civil society reps welcomed the inclusion of visa support to be provided by the Secretariat. 🪪 #Visas remain a major barrier to meaningful participation for many Global South delegates.

📜 Minutes after the opening of Day 3 of #SNAB6, the Advisory Board was presented with the performance review process of the SNLD's Executive Director. 🔬 😶 There were neither questions nor comments, and the review process was adopted. 👏 Delegates welcomed the quick decision.
