you’re 22. you scroll 3 hours a day. it feels harmless at 28 you can’t read an article without checking your phone twice per paragraph at 32 you don’t understand why nothing you start ever finishes, you’re still dreaming of this project you wanted to start. still no time at 40 you’ve never finished a book in a decade. it all passed

The 2-4 hours you spend scrolling each day (or 730-1460 hours each year) is more than enough time to write a book, build a business, or get in shape. In the moment, it seems like nothing. That's why it's so dangerous. Your time disappears without you being conscious of it.

How to master any skill fast: - stop studying - outline a project - start building it - hit a roadblock - figure out how to overcome it - repeat 4 and 5 for the rest of your life Most people don't get past 1, the rest spiral into complacency after 4.

Don't ever tell yourself this sh*t. It takes 10 years to hit your stride in something. At 35..Likely with kids and a wife. You'll be happy you took life seriously in your 20s. Most men don't. It shows. Start when your 15. If you can't, start today. Now.

I know rich men who are miserable. I know middle class men who are happy. I also know the vice versa. The unhappy ones are the one who chose their life based around money. Whether out of pursuing excess of it or making enough to just get by. People that work jobs they hate are JUST as controlled by money as a person driven by endless greed. The happy ones are the ones who found their passion in work regardless of the $$ amount. Don't get me wrong. More $$ is better than less $$. But it won't replace the real point. A man needs a purpose. The happiest men work for purpose. Kobe would of played ball for minimum wage and would have lived a perfectly happy fulfilled life If you find that purpose and a way to make rent. You've won. The end. You've won. You've won hard.

You will always lose motivation at the 80% done mark where it gets hard. This is where keeping your dopamine and health and distractions optimized allows you to push through. Most people who attempt to write books for example stop at about 80%. This is the law not the exception. Expect it.

“Dude I have 10 agents running while I sleep. No one is prepared for AGI in 2 years man.” “So what are you building?” “Bro all my smartest friends are vibe coding until 3am every night. It’s all about agency. Intelligence is a commodity man.” “So what are you building?” “Do you even study exponentials? Have you seen the latest METR chart? You’re going to be stuck in the permanent underclass bro.” “So what are you building?” “Did you even setup OpenClaw? I’m maxing out my token budget everyday man.” “So what are you building?” “I promise you I’m 10x more productive bro! You just don’t understand! Please bro just…. I know you use this stuff everyday too, but you must not be prompting it right! Please broo…”

The cost of code is coming down, so we will consume more of it. The productivity of coders is going up, so they will become more valuable. Coding now includes training and driving models.

If your young and trying to "make it" the big question is "how do I know what the right thing to do is". The answer : You don't. Do LOTS of things that MAY work with LOTS of effort. The path will reveal itself and you'll stumble into what you are good at and enjoy. Then go all in. Action clears uncertainty. The best way to ruin and delay your life results is spending time the discomfort of risk and waiting for certainty to just "happen". It doesn't work like that. Truly : Just do stuff with max effort till something feels right. Then commit to it. The path will then expand more. At your peak what you do will likely not look like what you did at the start SO the thing doesn't matter, just the starting.

Dear Vibe coders. The obstacle to building a 9 figure SaaS/Software was never code. It was focusing on 1 thing and refining it for years. Which is why you have created 50 apps and a Open Claw that can do your taxes but have zero actual results.
