We are just students for godsake trying our best to earn our degree at Obafemi Awolowo University. We have been traumatized, live in fear, and sleep in fear. Ile-Ife, Osun State isn't safe for We students at all. This same hostel was robbed by unknown persons. They carted away valuable properties. They have the gut and audacity to rub students from 10;49pm. We live in a state and country where the basic is not cater for, security is very important. We call on the state government, federal government, OONI of Ife, and stakeholders in Ile-Ife to find lasting solutions or will block and shut down the Lagos state/ibadan federal road. We are just students. We live in fear, and the roads to our campus are very bad. We need he'll, We are suffering. This can't continue like this. Unknown persons entering our hostels, most especially moremi estate under the Osun state housing government. We cry for help, we are suffering, and we need a better support system in terms of security from the government. We need help, we cry for help. These are just basic amenities for christ sake. 🤤😪

Lesson 2: The Most Powerful Capital is Trust My journey didn’t start with money — it started with trust. Trust was the seed that propelled everything else. Give young people trust, and they will surprise you. I was trusted, I repaid that trust.

Shared recently on my LinkedIn page how I became a bank manager at just 27. I got a lot of questions. One stood out: How could someone so young handle such responsibility? Here are 3 lessons from my journey.

Lesson 1: Age is not a barrier. If you can execute, are hungry to learn, and committed to results — you can lead at any age. Leadership is about clarity of vision and that discipline to execute.

At 27, I was given the opportunity of a lifetime: branch manager at AllStates Trust Bank, Nigeria, by HRM Ebitimi Banigo. Many doubted a young man could lead a bank branch. That chance changed the entire course of my life. It gave me confidence, a platform, and perspective.
