@lv Buildings cover renewal received £682.02. Just got a quote from you online and got a much lower price of £170.08. How can you explain this? It's a like for like quote!

@pippaknight76 Hi Pippa, we're sorry you're unhappy with your renewal price. UK insurers are seeing a lot more claims due to an increase in the frequency and severity of weather events. This is one of many reasons premiums are increasing. We go into more detail here: lv.com/gi/home-renew 1/2

I am sure I am not the only person to have this happen to them. All they are doing is #blamingSainsburys Time to report them to the Information Commission for miss handling my personal information. How many other people have @lv done this too and #ignored #badcustomerservice

After @lv trying to deny sending my information to the wrong address, emailing me a quote with the #wrong address on and the blaming it on @sainsburys and promising to investigate and send me a new qoute with the correct details on and get back to me, I've heard nothing.

@lv absolutely rubbish #customerservice received an email with a quote after being moved from #Sainsburys. #LV inputted my address wrongly, then said it wasn't their fault, would investigate and get back to me and investigate. Heard nothing over a week. 👎👎👎👎 #fulloflies

@MoneySavingExp Don't change your car within 1 month of renewal as you can't (always) amend your policy online with new details (generally FOC) so have to contact insurance co. Happened to me with @lv in Feb. Stung with £15 fee because their online system wouldn't allow me to do update vehicle.

After two years of falls, sadly car insurance prices may rise again. So DON'T accept your renewal quote, even if it's the same as last year. Not at renewal?
