@8dxmoder it is incredibly difficult (and i do sometimes still do it with people i dont know or would prefer to avoid confronting with) but it genuinely does come down to going "fuck it idc what they think" and seeing what happens. at the end of the day youve done the hardest bit (parents)

@8dxmoder i found a place by googling "trans friendly hairdressers <my city>" and found a useful reddit thread on it, might be worth? my place had stuff like pronouns and preferred name on the booking form and seemed non-judgemental when i turned up boymoding
