A innocent Nigerian was invited to the Police (Ogombo Police Station) today, being 6th April 2026, being a public holiday, he had nothing to hide so he obliged. He was detained in the morning & since then till now they’ve refused to tell him the basis arrest. His lawyers got to the said station and requested to see the DPO, the said DPO refused to see his lawyers. WHY IS THE DPO HIDING? She later came out and instructed her officers to walk his lawyers out from the station. @PoliceNG @nigerianpolice @PoliceNG_CRU @TunjiDisu1

I once sacrificed a fully paid opportunity to travel out just because my friend begged me not to leave her alone during a tough time(she had just lost both parents to an acc!dent and also had to drop out from school, she had no sibling but just me her friend) I stayed. I showed up for her. I was there through everything. Few months later… she relocated quietly without telling me 💀 Found out on Instagram.

I am a Nigerian And my opinion is that, the whole world cannot hate us and all be wrong There is something that makes every country to hate us as a group. Not one country on earth loves "Nigerians" We need to look inwards rather than fight the "hate"

I have lost two friends to their husbands beating them to death, the most prominent one was married to a very useless and evil RCCG youth pastor, my friend was a hardworking banker and loved by her colleagues and her friends but the one problem who was a weapon fashioned against her was her useless husband. He is a jealous man, jealous of her achievements, controlling while he’s very jobless and lazy and dislike the facts that she’s so genuinely and truly loved by all. Every week is a different injury to her body and if I complain and tell her to leave her marriage she will say “she does not want her children to have two fathers and he will change “, he kept her off her friends and anytime her friends complain to him about the ways he’s treating her,he will tell her that her friends are prostitute and jealous that she’s married and wants her to be a single mother. In 2011 she didn’t come to work that morning which was so unusual of her even when titilayo is sick, she still call in at work and later return home so it unusual of her being absent at work, her friend called me that very day that she didn’t come to work and she wasn’t returning her call or BBM messages,I waved it off at first but later called but it was just ringing no returned call, then her friend suggested we go to her house during our lunch break time, mind you I was working in ikoyi while she was working at VI and lives in isolo,so I moved with her friend to her house. On getting to her house we knocked for some minutes with no response and I noticed her phone was ringing in the kitchen then I moved towards the kitchen entrance at the back, what I saw shocked my existence,I saw fresh blood all over the kitchen then I started shouting and raising alarm. People gathered to the back and broke the kitchen door, behold was my dear friend behind the kitchen cabinet dead and buttered like a ram at the abattoir,I screamed, cried, people were holding me and I was fighting them. It was the most horrific crime scene I have ever witnessed, the whole isolo neighborhood were filled with people that very day and her husband was later apprehended and at first he denied it,the RCCG church wanted to subvert the judgement so that he can be found not guilty but the forensic experts results indicted him and in 2019 he was finally sentenced to death by hanging and still awaiting the hangman nose. Her beautiful daughter is 18 this year and already at the university,I always pray she never meets a man like her father. Women need to LEARN TO LEAVE so that they can LIVE

My mum’s friends daughter got married to a real time abuser🥹🥹 Whenever he beats her, she’d run back home but her parents will send her back. The last time he beat her, the father of the lady said he won’t let her go back unless he comes with his family members to beg and not touch her again. He came with his family and the wife followed them back. Now he has beaten her to death with 5mths pregnancy 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 The only girl of her family, mehnnnnn💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔

The funniest of all that's been happening lately is Nigerians tagging me Muslim. You see that binary way of thinking, that will be the end of most of you. These people lack the capacity to accommodate more than one direction of thought in their brains. For them: If you are not a Christian, you must be a Muslim. If you point out that foreign interference is their problem, as opposed to shouting APC every day, they will tag you APC. If you don't buy America’s narrative on terrorism, they will tag you a terrorist sympathiser. When they insult you and you open their bio, they're either Trump worshipers, IPOB, followers of JC Okechukwu or lovers of Oyibo chains. Then whatever insult they hurl at you becomes a compliment, cos I will be highly disappointed if people like these agree with me.

@Big_Mck You Muslim cleric can visit Iran , Saudi Arabia, Turkey but a Christian can’t visit Israel. Shut the F up

Actual definition of 'conspiracy theory' - "The belief that a covert, malevolent group secretly manipulates major events or situations, often disregarding mainstream evidence for alternative explanations." Nigerian definition of 'conspiracy theory' - "Anything that clashes with my narrow understanding of the world around me according to the tiny version of reality imparted to me by my education, my church, my job and my peer group, even if that thing is admitted and explained in great academic detail in declassified government documents, official reports, public records, and private memoirs, thus making it not a 'belief' at all but an evident and manifest reality, which my tiny brain nonetheless refuses to process." And that's why I don't do 'intellectual discourse' with Nigerians. I'd rather engage a door in conversation. At least the door would shut the fuck up and not constantly argue and try to 'correct' me with wrong, outdated or false information. Especially the talkative ones who consider themselves "smart" but still haven't figured out why everytime their country has a remotely decent president, he mysteriously dies in office or gets run out of town by a mysteriously well armed insurgent group that has better weapons than the Nigerian military. Ozuor² with big English.

The Colonization of Blackness Through Religion and Language This commentary by Gilberto Gomes Leal; founder of Amenti World, speaking at a movement and theatre workshop, examines how colonization used religion, language, and cultural conditioning to attach goodness, purity, and legitimacy to whiteness, while casting blackness as dangerous, inferior, and shameful. It argues that this was never accidental. It was part of a wider system that shaped belief, identity, and power, and left deep psychological scars that continue to echo across generations. At its heart, the piece is about collective trauma: what it means to grow up in a world where the words, images, and ideas linked to blackness are repeatedly framed as negative. It challenges the inherited logic and calls attention to the lasting damage of a system that pushed African identity and spirituality to the margins while centering whiteness as the standard.

The people you love the most are all temporary. I’m not even saying metaphorically, I mean literally. Your mom, dad, siblings, wife, husband, they are all here temporarily. It’s a sad realization but make every single day count. Express that love.
