Murka- Don't take the controversy the wrong way. I am not a Bersatu member, but I understand Muhiyuddin Yasin's stance. Despite the Murka from the Istana, he said he was bypassed as Prime Minister. Muhiyuddin may be mistaken as to the actual support he had ( apparently 115), just as Tun M felt he had 114 when King Abdullah appointed Muhiyuddin in 2021 The whole controversy should serve as a lesson to the government. There will be more close calls in future elections. Unless the process of determining who has a majority is clarified and transparent, we will continue to have disputes of this nature. Stability will be compromised When that happens, the Istana will again feel “ Murka” or insulted or furious by statements made by the party leader who was not chosen. But the Rakyat who supported the leader who felt wronged by the process will also be angry or Murka. Murka can come from both sides It’s not good for the country when counting the numbers would cause Murka. Responsible leadership must try to find ways so that similar controversies can be avoided
