Sky News proudly posted a clip of their reporter in Berlin struggling to explain the latest car ramming attack, this time targeting a gay pride event in Berlin. 'A lot of people were very shocked about what happened,' she said.
'They couldn't believe it because it’s such a peaceful and such a joyful event. I mean it happens every year… so the fact that the people came to such an abrupt ending of their celebration is just very surprising.'
The rest of us weren't surprised at all that the lead suspect is a 'known Islamist' named as 'Abdul B'. Perhaps he learnt from Abdul A, and hopes to inspire Abduls C, D, and E through to Z. Islamic terrorism has long used vehicles to kill and maim people they don't believe deserve to live.

I can’t find the words to describe how bad this scene is.
In Homer’s Odyssey (Book 12), Circe advised Odysseus that he himself might listen to the Sirens’ song "with delight."
Odysseus told his men to bind him tightly to the mast while plugging their own ears with beeswax.
When the Sirens began to sing with their beautiful voices, Odysseus recounted that his heart "longed to listen," and he signaled to his men with his eyebrows, ordering them to set him free.
Following his earlier instructions, they bound him even more tightly and kept rowing until the song faded.
The Sirens’ song promised knowledge and joy, making the listener "a wiser man" before leading him to death.
Curious and resourceful, Odysseus deliberately chose to experience it, knowing in advance that his desire would overpower his reason. His feelings were thus a mix of delight, longing, and internal struggle (the inability to resist despite his careful preparations).
Modern interpretations sometimes emphasize the pain of unfulfilled desire or psychological torment, although that is not what the Homeric text writes. But here Nolan made something totally embarrassing. I mean, what is this? He literally made a movie with great special effects and music but has nothing to do with the primary source which is Homer's Odyssey. He should have named it "Noladyssey", this is not an Odyssey.

What does it mean that every glance you take is a moral act—and that the world you see is literally shaped by what you're aiming at when you look? This lecture builds from a deceptively simple observation about perception and intent into one of the oldest and most unsettling ideas in the biblical tradition: that the spirit you bring to your decisions determines what reality reveals to you. Moving through the stories of Jacob's ladder, Elijah's cave, and the still small voice that turns out to be harder to hear than any earthquake or firestorm, Peterson traces the case that conscience, calling, and the instinct to aim upward are not three things but one—and that the God of the Old Testament is less a being to be believed in than a direction to be chosen, one glance, one word, one sacrifice at a time.
This lecture was filmed on December 2nd, 2024 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
