@MattWaldman @SigmundBloom He hasn’t been healthy, he has rust, and most importantly he’s not better than love and jeanty man wtaf???????!?
English

@MattWaldman Where would he rank in this years class? And how far behind of Love would be be?
English

@Derrty1187 Brooks based on proven work and standing with team. Safest.
Martinez if he makes good on opportunity and generates more opportunities to compete for RB2. Monitor.
Williams based on pure talent if made a FT RB. Unlikely for now.
English

@MattWaldman Hypothetically....which Waldman favorite would you pick up off waivers or stands to benefit most of Jacobs were to miss time?
- Brooks
-Martinez
-Savion
Very curious about your choice...
English

@SigmundBloom A healthy Jonathon Brooks without rust is the best RB in this draft class and the last draft class, but the part before "is" in this sentence is not to be underestimated in a world where the margins between players is narrow.
English

@MattWaldman ive been saying if you want to get excited about taking brooks in FF drafts, watch his texas tape (especially if you do it right after watching Price at ND)

@BallCoach_Nate It's what I've been told repeatedly by college players, pro players, scouts, and position coaches on the outside working with pros.
English

@MattWaldman 100% believe it. I can’t speak about the NFL but we had an LB at Miami who would call out loafs and misalignments to the younger players. The LB coach (NFL vet) didn’t even have to say much, the captain ran that meeting and it was just as meaningful
English

The biggest influences on player development for young NFL players are often outside position coaches teaching technique and veterans teaching them how to put in the work.
Chris Godwin is one of a handful of WRs the past 10 years who could do it all at a high level.
JennaLaineESPN@JennaLaineESPN
When Jalen McMillan (No. 11) was struggling early on in his rookie season, Chris Godwin (No. 14) — then on IR — gave him a whole jugs routine. Then when it was time for the playoffs, he send him a long text carefully laying out how the expectations rise. It’s Godwin’s room now.
English

I believe @AlfredoABrown supplied this context in the thread but worth adding it to those who looked only at the headline
English

Here’s where I would supply more context if not push back on this…
1. Multiple rookie QBs
2. MOF field routes downfield are the common flaw of rookie QBs.
3. New offense in 2026
4. Fannin was good MOF in college.
Reception Perception is a good tool; the public’s interpretations are subject to debate.
