The django SaaS starter kit will also feature an extremely detailed documentation and tons of real world applications built with it. I'll stream and record it all. Pretty excited about it.

@T_Zahil It surely is tougher for a croissant, for me there was just the Z and Y swapped with a lot of better bindings for the rest.

@SDinesh91 That would also give them attention - isn't that beside the point, then? It would make it actual marketing.

Should I create a site which lists the apps that use fake/false marketing? This would at least help people who want to purchase make an informed choice.

Even after all those years, I still get a rush of excitement every time I open up my IDE. Nothing beats writing code.

I feel like people have grown tired of AI content and can spot it quite easily nowadays. Authenticity is what sets other apart. And I'm happy to be getting so much good feedback on the authentic live streams! 🔥 Cheers everyone! 👏

The main problem with standard employment that I have is the income ceiling. Only in a tiny number of jobs (like sales with commissions) can you make significantly more by over-performing. If you own your business, you can sign additional clients and bag the profit.

Something about the saying "it is okay to fail". Well yeah, but this helps: - take your risks early on - failing at the start is cheap - failing after a lot of work is expensive - try a lot of stuff early on and see what sticks - focus your energy and resources on the above

What's something new in the software dev world that you wanted to try out recently? Framework, language, library, pattern, ... Everything's fair game!

Always question your assumptions. Is what you're doing really the right call? Or are you just doing it out of habit or because someone told you?

I am not necessarily in the business of writing code. I am in the business of helping businesses solve problems, and I do that through writing great software.

It's a common saying that you just need to start doing instead of talking. And yeah, it's true. What's an idea you've been talking a lot about but never started doing?

Be kind to others and go out of your way to help. Then, don't ask for anything in return. And you will be repaid twofold

Looking forward to running a simple PHP website on a 256-core CPU. (Seriously though, servers as we know it will never be the same once it becomes commonplace for a "regular" web server to have AI inference capacity by default. nextplatform.com/2024/04/16/amp…

I've been quiet on X for a while and people started following. When I'm active, I wasn't gaining a lot of followers. Should I just shut up? 🤔
