The MBRSC stand also continued to welcome visitors, who took a closer look at the Rashid Rover 2 model, items carried by astronauts to space during their missions, and satellite components ‘Made in the Emirates’.

On the second day of Make it in the Emirates 2026, astronauts Hazzaa AlMansoori, Nora AlMatrooshi and Mohammad AlMulla toured the participating stands, where they explored innovations and products developed by companies in the UAE.

واصلت منصة مركز محمد بن راشد للفضاء استقبال الزوار، الذين اطلعوا على مجسم المستكشف راشد 2، ومقتنيات حملها رواد الفضاء الإماراتيون خلال مهماتهم، وأجزاء من أقمارنا الاصطناعية صُنعت في الإمارات.

في اليوم الثاني من "اصنع في الإمارات 2026"، قام رواد الفضاء هزاع المنصوري، ونورا المطروشي، ومحمد الملا بجولة على المنصات المشاركة، حيث تعرفوا إلى أبرز ابتكارات ومنتجات الشركات الوطنية.

From the UAE to the surface of the Moon, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan laid the foundation for a path of progress that we continue today with Rashid Rover 2.

Our journey at Make it in the Emirates 2026 has begun. At the MBRSC stand, we are sharing the story of Emirati ambition reaching Earth’s orbit, the Moon, and Mars.

انطلقت مشاركتنا في "اصنع في الإمارات 2026"، حيث نقدم لكم في منصة مركز محمد بن راشد للفضاء مسيرة طموح صنعها أبناء الإمارات لتصل إلى المدار والقمر والمريخ..

We began our participation in Make it in the Emirates 2026. At the MBRSC stand, we are showcasing our key programmes, including the Emirates Lunar Mission’s Rashid Rover 2, ‘Made in the Emirates’ satellite components, and missions from the UAE Astronaut Programme. We are also strengthening ties with Emirati companies while learning more about their innovations that can support our programmes. In collaboration with local industry, we aim to build an integrated ecosystem for the UAE space sector, bringing together the development of spacecraft, local manufacturing of components, mission execution, and the use of space-derived data.

بدأنا مشاركتنا ضمن منصة مركز محمد بن راشد للفضاء في "اصنع في الإمارات 2026". نعرض هذا العام أبرز مشاريعنا ومنها مشروع الإمارات لاستكشاف القمر "المستكشف راشد 2"، وأجزاء من أقمارنا الاصطناعية صنعت في الإمارات، ونسلط الضوء على برنامج الإمارات لرواد الفضاء ومهماته. نعزز كذلك تعاوننا مع الشركات الإماراتية ونتعرف إلى أحدث ابتكاراتها التي تسهم في دعم مشاريعنا. مع الشركات الوطنية نريد بناء قطاع فضاء إماراتي تتكامل فيه جهودنا جميعًا من تطوير المركبات إلى تصنيع أجزائها، وخوض المهمات في الفضاء، والاستفادة من بياناتها.

Distinguished guests included H.E. Dr Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, Minister of Climate Change and Environment; H.E. Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; and H.E. Dr Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports and Chairman of the UAE Space Agency.

On the first day of Make it in the Emirates 2026, MBRSC’s stand welcomed visitors from across countries and organisations, as they explored the latest updates about the Centre’s missions.

في اليوم الأول من "اصنع في الإمارات 2026"، استقبلت منصة مركز محمد بن راشد للفضاء زوارًا من مختلف الدول والجهات، حيث تعرفوا إلى أبرز مستجدات مهماتنا.

عامر الصايغ الغافري، مساعد المدير العام للهندسة الفضائية، مركز محمد بن راشد للفضاء، يتحدث عن قيمة القمر الاصطناعي "محمد بن زايد - سات" لقطاع صناعة الفضاء الوطني، خلال افتتاح "اصنع في الإمارات 2026".

تتولى دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، ممثلة بوكالة الإمارات للفضاء، رئاسة الميثاق الدولي «الفضاء والكوارث الكبرى» للدورة الحالية لمدة ستة أشهر، وذلك خلال الفترة من 20 أبريل إلى 19 أكتوبر 2026. وخلال فترة الرئاسة، ستعمل الوكالة، بالتعاون مع شركائها الوطنيين، بما في ذلك الهيئة الوطنية لإدارة الطوارئ والأزمات والكوارث، ومركز محمد بن راشد للفضاء، وشركة «سبيس 42»، على دعم أعمال أمانة الميثاق وتعزيز كفاءة العمليات التشغيلية، بما يسهم في رفع جاهزية الاستجابة العالمية للكوارث الكبرى باستخدام تقنيات الفضاء. The United Arab Emirates, through the UAE Space Agency, will assume the leadership of the International Charter: Space and Major Disasters for a 6-month term spanning 20 April to 19 October 2026. During its leadership, the Agency will work in close coordination with its national partners, including the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre, and Space42, to support the Charter Secretariat and improve operational efficiency, advancing global readiness for disaster response using space technologies.

اختتمت وكالة الإمارات للفضاء البرنامج التدريبي الخاص بـ"الميثاق الدولي للفضاء والكوارث الكبرى" في جامعة زايد – أبوظبي، والذي جمع نخبة من الشركاء والخبراء من مختلف الجهات في الدولة، بهدف تعزيز التنسيق ورفع الجاهزية التشغيلية وتطوير توظيف بيانات الأقمار الصناعية في دعم الاستجابة للكوارث. ويأتي هذا البرنامج بالتزامن مع تولي الوكالة رئاسة الميثاق الدولي للفضاء والكوارث الكبرى لمدة ستة أشهر، وبالتعاون مع شركائها الوطنيين: الهيئة الوطنية لإدارة الطوارئ والأزمات والكوارث، ومركز محمد بن راشد للفضاء، وشركة «سبيس 42». The UAE Space Agency has concluded its training program on the International Charter: Space And Major Disasters at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi. The program convened leading partners and experts from across the UAE to strengthen coordination, enhance operational readiness, and advance the use of satellite data in disaster response efforts. This initiative comes as the Agency assumes the presidency of the International Charter for Space and Major Disasters for a six-month term, and is delivered in collaboration with its national partners: the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre, and Space42.
