The research is clear: Let the children play! 🤸🎉 If you want smart, healthy, well-rounded students, it pays to invest in recess.

Effective teachers don't focus so much on rules, but more on relationships, routines, & expectations. If you focus mainly on rules, you will spend most of the year enforcing them. But if you focus on relationships, routines, & expectations, you rarely have to defer back to rules.

The political left is too extreme. The political right is too extreme. America needs a 3rd or even 4th party.

The sermon today was on John 8, and the pastor asked at one point what we thought happened to the woman after Jesus refused to condemn her. The women disciples, he imagined, picked her up, put clothes on her, reassured her that she was safe with Jesus. That sounds exactly right.

If I have a concern about something at my kid’s school… I should: A. Post about it on social media OR B. Contact someone at the school who can actually do something about it (I’m gonna go with B!)

I’m more convinced than ever… that a friendly smile and genuine greeting to the students we encounter during the day, is more meaningful than most of us realize. It doesn’t take much to inject some positivity into a kid’s day.

When teachers walk into a PD session, they shouldn't wonder why they're there. Find tips for making learning meaningful for your team, including offering surveys like this. insightadvance.com/blog/different…

How you treat the people you like and want to defend tells me nothing about your Christian faith. How you treat those you do not like and think are a problem tells me so much more about your Christian faith.

When you start your day with gratitude you create a fertile mind and heart that is ready for great things to happen. When you feel blessed you can’t be stressed. Don’t worry about the day. Take it on with power and positivity!
