MD State Highway Adm

The speed limit on MD 355 in Frederick has been lowered between Lowes Ln and Technology Way from 45 mph to 40 mph and Technology Way and the Urbana District Park has been lowered from 50 mph to 45 mph. These changes stem from a recent traffic study.

Still breezy with more sun today and highs in the 60s and 70s. Warming back into the 80s Saturday with highs near 90 Sunday. Even hotter conditions early next week with increasing t-storm chances Tuesday and Wednesday. More: weather.gov/lwx.

May is #BicycleSafetyMonth. As more cyclists are on the road, drivers must stay alert, give at least 3 feet of space when passing, yield to bikes like you would other vehicles, and drive the posted speed limit. #SeriousAboutSafety
