@TheRealPomax Hi @TheRealPomax, thank you for reaching out about this. It is just a web design mistake when we added a white background to the product. It erased the white inside the middle of the tape. We have reported it to the web team to correct.

@mec what's going on with the pictures on mec.ca/en/product/602…? Did someone use ms paint to draw some white over the inside? And if so: why would that need drawing over, surely we're allowed to see what it looks like =D

hey ⁦@mec⁩ I ordered a couple of Nalgene jars and this is how they were shipped. Like you couldn't have used one box ? Days were MEC was green but this kinda shipping, not so much. Do better. Be better. Also other part of order is still being processed ?

Disappointed that @mec warranty is dismissing my Rab Cirrus Alpine Jacket issue as “cosmetic” despite clear photos showing seam failure + reduced insulation in that area. I rely on this jacket for backcountry trips and can’t afford to lose warmth or wait weeks without it. Hoping MEC can do better.

@mec shipped me a Redtail paddle with a chipped tip & blade. I paid $30 shipping. They offered just 5%, then bumped it to 10%, or I return at my cost. Repairs cost me over $30. How is that not pushing your mistake onto the customer? Disappointed. #mec #customerexperience

Sunday was a beautiful day for the Pride Hike at Hemlock Ravine in Halifax. We had 55 folks on this “Out n’ Aboot” hike. @MEC Halifax were awesome leaders and had the best trail treats: delicious affogatos made using camp gear! Thanks everyone for a great day!

@JCIsaiah12 @REI Depending on where you are camping, the footprint will be helpful for a number of reasons - not the least of which is protecting the bottom of the tent - which will be quite thin if you are looking for a light-weight 4 season tent.

@mec @REI I just want to know the most light weight four season and whether or not in those moments it's best to have a footprint. I haven't done this in about 7 years and so I'm trying to remember everything.

I am hoping for a big hiking adventure in the spring of 2026. I have my mountain equipment co-op.... "MEC" backpack, sleeping bag silk liner, and thermarest sleep pad. Looking for recommendations for a one burner, cook stove. And a quality four season tent. @mec @REI #hike
