Went on hinge for a few months earlier this year. Never felt worse. It's like social media but even more distracting. When I added up time spent on the app, I realised I could've done so many activities I enjoyed instead. Nothing wrong with living your life 'alone'. Attract through authenticity instead.

The brutal truth for most entrepreneurs. Your broke mindset is killing your business. It's a lesson I've learned over the past three years. My family grew up poor. Dad was one of three brothers to a single mum in one of England's poorest areas. Mum from the toughest parts of Northern Ireland. The scarcity mindset runs deep. Building a business was my wake-up call. I realised the truth: money is infinite, time is not. Everything changed when I discovered Naval's Aspirational Hourly Rate framework. Pick a number that represents what you want your time to be worth. Then run every decision through it. I started at $100/hour as an early writer. Gradually increased to $250, then $500. Now $1,000. This framework saves me constantly. Restaurant booking fee? £25 for 10 minutes of arguing. Not worth it at my hourly rate. When you have no personal hourly rate, you have no reason to say no. You get trapped in low-leverage opportunities. But when you have one, you start making decisions like you're already worth it. It creates space for better opportunities. You might worry that you'll lose money. But here's the magic: when I increase my rates, I thought I'd lose customers. Instead? Better clients who valued my time. More space for high-leverage projects. Are you trapped in low leverage work? What would happen if you valued your time 20% higher starting today?
