@kelskiYT It’s just… okay. Just a heap of little issues on top of the dog shit controls and movement, which I guess can be fixed. It’s not terrible, it’s not great… it’s just okay (7 hours gameplay so far)

@00000tired @KingRichard I guess it just depends on why you play certain games The reasons I play and love delta force are also the exact same reasons I dislike marathon. The positives that marathon does have doesn’t even remotely outweigh the massive fundamental negatives for me

@Mendo @KingRichard yeah i get that your expectations were not met and that it doesn’t feel great to not see any of your feedback considered, but i genuinely think the positives within the systems marathon has in place outweigh all of its face value shortcomings after a bit of time invested

I understand the discourse in the community. People are kind of fed up with games being trash cash grab attempts. However Marathon is by far the best extraction shooter to date! It’s literally what people have been asking for from the genre. We gotta support the good and give hard push back on the bad. Marathon is not the game we should hate on seriously give it a try!

@00000tired @KingRichard So you’re right we were absolutely exhausted, because we came back to test the game again and all the issues we wrote pages and pages of feedback on were still core issues, felt like a waste of time even hopping back on to check

And keep in mind, this was not our first playtest. This was our third playtest with desperate hopes that feedback from my previous ones had made it into the game, I had already fundamentally experienced the game - I was desperately hoping they had fixed the issues for full launch (such as bullet sponge PvE design, ammo and med bottlenecks due to this, overheating system, looting system, pvp, directional audio etc). None of it was adjusted unfortunately, some things were even worse than my previous playtest
