When parts of your country are under sustained attack, communities are being overrun, and citizens are living in fear, the expectation is leadership presence, coordination, and urgency at home, not a full security lineup abroad, unless you are saying foreign optics is our priority of Tinubu’s government. II agree with you when you say their roles are "strategic," and personally I believe strategy is most needed where the crisis is happening. Intelligence coordination, inter-agency synergy, and decisive direction should be anchored in the theater of conflict, not from thousands of miles away. The fact that service chiefs are in Maiduguri does not excuse the absence of the highest level of civilian security leadership. Oversight, direction, and accountability flow from the top. At the end of the day, no amount of international meetings will substitute for the basic duty of securing Nigerians. That is the job, first and foremost. But I get you Kawu!
