Here is something I’ve been working on for a while. BITMAP - A generative, live token that creates a 3D data sculpture based on a Bitcoin block it randomly picks every day and leaving trails that capture its daily visual states. I also made a website where you can check out its daily outputs and mint them to make them permanent on the blockchain. bitmap.mhxalt.com

I've open-sourced and published a step-by-step guide on how Bitmap was created. The system executes a routine that runs on @rendernetwork. Every 24 hours, it constructs and renders the artwork on decentralised machines. You can find the details here: bitmap.mhxalt.com/details

I’m insanely proud to share this collab between me, my wife @chelseaevenstar, @Zedd, @artechouse, and @rendernetwork!! This is part of the Submerge group show of 15 genius artists, and all the pieces were rendered at 18K, an absurd resolution, and it literally would not have been possible without the Render Network! This piece began as a drawing in procreate by Chelsea, and after I spent days extruding and cleaning up the model, Chelsea painstakingly dropped in glass textures for every little pane of glass. Then, I rendered more than 100 passes of light animation to create the final result. 🤯 We had an amazing time creating this and it’s exhibiting for the next several months at Artechouse in NYC!! ❤️‍🔥
