Tangent Red Bull New York captain Emil Forsberg has not spoken to media after a match since April 4’s win over FC Cincinnati. In the seven games since #RBNY has one win (versus Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC in the Open Cup). The young players are the ones usually being sent out.

TL;DR Rin is aware that people are upset by the drastic change. Says they’re allowed to be upset, and that he isn’t immune to criticism and discussion just because he spent money. He just wanted to do something different. He also clarifies that the original model, as iconic as it was, was rushed. That trying to get in contact with the original artist to refresh it without corpo support and funds was extremely difficult. But also above all… it had been three years. He was ready for a change. The gender ambiguity in the first place was in part about proving you could be successful in a corpo without fitting a specific archetypal box. Which he accomplished. But the new model isn’t necessarily “feminine” now. And he hopes people will come around on appreciating it, even if not everyone will be a fan.

@zyra_zain If Rin likes it, they like it. If you’re an entertainer, changes to your brand will create discourse. Hushing one side because “it’s rude” is lame. You’re hiding it away. Next it’ll be rude if viewership goes down because people don’t like it (it won’t). Take it, move on.

@MichaelBattista Thinking that it's better for them to "not be in an echo-chamber" is no reason to bust into their QRTs with the criticism. It's RUDE. They can say the name "Rin" in their tweet of a screenshot of the model and say whatever they want. And Rin can search "Rin" if he wants.

Whenever I see someone excited for their new debut and it’s clear they spent a long time and a lot of money on it, I brace myself for the people who say they preferred the previous one. I get it; but for the love of GOD don’t say it on their posts or in their chats. It may be your valid opinion, and hell maybe sometimes warranted! But, NO content creator wants their special day ruined by people directly insulting that time effort and money- and care that they’ve personally invested. Trust me, it may feel like a nothing comment to you, “just an opinion” but a creator seeing that will sit with that and it will eat them. They will never get that money and life back, and you are telling them they wasted it. That their tastes are shit. Keep that to your dms with friend, and off their official posts. I experienced this with my own kama debut, and i'm seeing this happen to rin. Fuck y'all so seriously. "omg its just an opinion chill" yeah and yours sucks and causes pain and i get to say fuck you just like you get to say "erm is it too soon to say ew".
