Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo said that there is essentially no communication between the governor’s office and the office of Democratic Attorney General Aaron Ford, despite his efforts. The two are likely to square off in Nevada’s gubernatorial race later this year.

Emine discovered she was pregnant while in ICE detention. During her time there, she lost over 15 pounds and received minimal medical care, despite a prior miscarriage. Now, her and her husband bounce between hotels and Airbnbs. Because of her status, she remains uninsured.

Lombardo has yet to comment on whether he supports the federal government taking over state elections as suggested by President Trump. He didn't answer whether he supported nationalizing elections at the end of his press conference.
