Ragebait is not just someone making you angry. It is someone trying to pull you into a spiral so your time and energy get spent on them instead of your own life. They want you refreshing replies, explaining yourself forever, checking who agrees, following the argument into side tunnels and giving them more of your nervous system than they earned. The mistake is not always responding. The mistake is donating the rest of your day to someone who wanted you distracted, defensive and emotionally busy. If you must, make your point. Then mute the thread and go build your life instead of building their satisfaction.

If the first thing you do when you wake up is open an app just to be irritated, that’s conditioning. Constant outrage rewires you. You train your nervous system to scan for threat, betrayal, something to attack. You think you’re choosing it. You’re not. You’re reinforcing a loop. Some of you don’t have opinions anymore. You have a dopamine habit tied to anger. Here’s how you know you’re not in control anymore: If you can’t scroll without reacting. If you feel restless when there’s nothing to be mad at. If peace feels boring. If logging off feels uncomfortable. That’s dependency. We become what we repeatedly rehearse. If negativity is your default reaction to everything, that’s conditioning. You don’t even have to disappear from the internet. Just replace the behavior. Use the same hour to learn something. Build something. Move your body. Read. Create. Play the game instead of fighting strangers about it. You rewire by replacing loops. Let your brain heal. Seriously.

OK I'm sorry but my thrift haul from today is so cute. I told her to just put everything in the box I bought, it was not intended. But every little Gothic piece called out to me. This cross necklace was hiding in the most obscure spot.

Humans didn’t stop building wonders. We just moved a lot of them into digital worlds. Just walk into any FromSoft game. Modern regulations, costs, safety, and profit margins make building structures like this in real life nearly impossible now.

Went thrifting on a quest for black work pants with real functioning pockets (something the ladies understand.) Came home with a few pairs of such pants, an herbology shirt, bottled florals, and a little spellbook box. So I ended with a curated witchy inventory.

That's why del Toro is an ARTIST not a human Xerox machine, so anyone salty that his film "isn't true to the book" forgets artists can reimagine other art based on their own interpretation and experiences and it's perfectly fine
