‘Tis the Season: My Gift to Support 10 African MBA Applicants
2024 has been an intense year, bringing back vivid memories of where I was this time in 2020 — finalizing my Harvard Business School (HBS) Round 2 application and scrambling to find the right support.
At the time, there weren’t many attorneys pursuing MBAs, so many people thought it was impossible while others thought I was crazy for aspiring to earn an MBA from Harvard University. I had to seek out guidance and understand the various application strategies.
Since then, I’ve been deliberate and committed to paying it forward — serving as an HBS admissions ambassador, mentoring graduate school applicants globally, and helping many achieve their MBA dreams.
In the spirit of Christmas, I’ve been thinking of how I can make things a bit easier for others, so I’m expanding my support beyond my immediate network and extending a gift to you.
I’m offering free assistance to 10 African MBA applicants, providing support for one school of their choice in Round 2 or Round 3 with January deadlines.
Here’s how I can help:
- 5 applicants will receive comprehensive, end-to-end application support.
- 5 others will receive a one-time essay review and interview preparation support.

A not so known fact is that the EB2 NIW has one of the highest approval rates, between 77- 85% @myguideli helps with this process, drafting a petition of several pages might seem like a hurdle but the positive outcome makes it worth it.

If you are going to grad school in the US and intend to use it as a pathway to settle in the US, start the process of applying for the EB2 NIW (or O1) as soon as possible. The fact that employers do not have to sponsor your visa is a major hurdle crossed.

Every young person who wants to get involved with startups should prioritize coming to SF and finding a community of authentic and hardworking founders they look up to. It’s the most incredible accelerant you could ask for.
