Wrens are usually solitary birds but when it’s cold they will sometimes huddle together for warmth. Some people call this a ‘herd’ but technically it’s known as a ‘scene’. That’s because chilled wren should be ‘scene’ and not ‘herd’.

@MooseAllain Well done, Moose. A horribly difficult thing to do, but I’m glad you were able to give her a fitting send off. Sending love & condolences.

We gave Karen a magnificent send off yesterday. It seems strange to say that such a sad day was joyful, but that’s what a room overflowing with love will do.
