US airlines would have bought Concorde if it made sense. Euro airlines that bought Concorde were flag carriers and were basically forced to go through with purchase.

Average rate of launches is less than one/day. Sonic boom restrictions are in countries all over the world, not crazy for US to have the same. Sonic restrictions helped kill SST, too

Somehow they thought doubling the length of the longest piece of shit was a good idea. I'm so fucking angry they thought people would be happy to slog through the biggest sess pool only to find out there was no ending and they'd have to wade through another shit pit in a year.
