Bryan Stevenson, an acclaimed public interest lawyer, author, and social justice advocate, will serve as the keynote speaker for the university’s 149th Spring Commencement Exercises. The Morgan State University Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) has received its first award from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), a $2.4-million grant to lead a research project focused on converting nuclear radiation into electrical energy. The Spring Job and Internship Fair is near, and students are preparing for their futures. Hosted by the Center for Career Development, “Krisp Ties: Learn to Tie a Tie” provided a hands-on opportunity to build an essential professional skill. Attendees learned how to properly tie a tie for interviews, career fairs, and formal events, and also received free ties to support their journey toward success. #GrowingTheFuture

A new collaboration between Morgan State University and the Office of Senator Arthur Ellis (District 28) will significantly expand access to higher education for students from Charles County by doubling available scholarship support and reducing financial barriers to college completion.
