There is no greater happiness than defending what is dear to you and taking your country’s fate into your own hands. To be someone who takes charge of their own life and stands at the center of the most decisive events for their nation. From the very beginning, and throughout the years, Azov battalion has been a focal point of the volunteer spirit in Ukraine. And it remains so to this day. No modern weapon terrifies the occupiers as much as disciplined, highly trained, and motivated fighters who have consciously chosen to trade the comfort of their homes and the peace of rear cities for the steel storms of battle in defense of their homeland. Those who, following the call of their hearts, stood up for Ukraine’s independence in 2014 and again in 2022 — and who today have become true professionals in the art of war. I salute every Ukrainian volunteer soldier and thank you for the choice you made, the responsibility you accepted, and the steadfastness you show despite all the hardships along this difficult path.
