Fajardo, 19, was a $400K sign out of Venezuela by the White Sox in 2024. Red Sox acquired him last December for Cam Booser, whom they had DFA’d. Aita, 22, was the Red Sox’s sixth-round pick out of Kennesaw State in 2024.

Blake Aita was set to rank 28th in the Red Sox system entering 2026. Now, he heads to the Cardinals. His best pitch is a sweeper with above-average potential.
