Today it is with sadness, excitement, and optimism that I announce my withdrawal from Virginia's 7th Congressional race. Although I feel as though real Americans want, need, and are patiently waiting for someone like myself to assume a leadership position in Government. I have to consider every factor as my family and I move forward in God's grace and vision.
To my fellow Americans,
I hope for peace, prosperity, opportunity and understanding for you ALL. I've watched a minority among US go from the anti-white, anti-God, anti-family, anti-common sense, anti-American woke left. To the anti-black, antisemitic, islamophobic, anti-American woke right. It's up to the hundreds of millions of US in between these extremities to help re-usher in an era of compassion, love, and understanding for our American brothers and sisters. If Republicans are not brave enough to understand this reality and vigorously correct their trajectory, despite the current historic successes, I fear the midterms will be a bloodbath the likes of which we haven't seen in our life time. From Miami, to Iowa, to Virginia, to Georgia, to New Jersey the warning signs are flashing and... warning. You don't have to compromise your values to be compassionate, nor do you have to compromise them to seek understanding and unity, even with those you disagree with. In fact, as Christians you'd be doing your part to walk more in HIS way. It's time for US to focus more on those things we find agreement on, rather than everything we fail to find any consensus on. That's how you lead and it's time to DEMAND our elected officials do just that. Anything other than, is a direct dereliction of duty.
I have accepted an AMAZING opportunity to re-engage my former career and build the life and lasting legacy God gave me the inherent skills to lead. In 2015 I quit a $200k/year job and didn't take a paycheck for 3 years to enter politics and sacrificed greatly for what I saw as, "serving for the good of the people." Just like I did in politics, in my prior career I was a record setter and a skilled communicator able to positively affect the people and environments around me. I am excited to put those attributes back to immediate beneficial use. I will be relocating to Texas, with my wife, to continue this amazing journey I've been blessed to call life, be closer to our family, and continue my career.
My wife and I ask for your prayers as we travel on roads and through life to pursue our destiny and honor God's will. Although this is goodbye to politics for now, I will be always be here to motivate, inspire, and give my 2 cents when necessary. I love you ALL and thank you for blessing me with the opportunity to serve you honorably.
