RAPID ACCESS CHEST PAIN CLINICs Yesterday referring a person for an assessment of suspected angina - best locally 47 weeks - best nationally 15 weeks (200 miles away) This was & should be 2 weeks, impossible/unsafe for patients & GPs This Government is responsible for deaths

I worked through my cancer treatment as I wanted to minimise the impact of my treatment on that of my patients. I am committed to them, my job and the nhs. I will be striking with my consultant colleagues for all the same reasons. #consultantstrikes #NHS #westandtogether
