Thanks to our salary negotiations teams. At last night’s board meeting, a salary increase of 3% plus the step was approved for the 2023-2024 school year. This is a 1% increase on top of the previously negotiated 2% for this year from last year’s negotiations.

The legislature put money in the budget for districts to give raises to teachers (as opposed to the pay raises all other state workers receiving). Please email our board members and superintendent to encourage them to use the money for what it is intended for…teacher pay raises.

Kelly Read was in Frankfort today advocating for our schools. Unfortunately, Charter School Bill HB 9 just passed the Senate Education Committee and will now proceed to the full senate for consideration. Please contact your state senator and ask them to vote NO on HB9.
