This is why cross-border fintech isn't just "cheaper transfers." It's a fundamentally different architecture, one that removes intermediaries and routes money where it needs to go, directly. That's the infrastructure we're building at Blaaiz. Any questions about how the current system works? Ask below ↓

Here's the uncomfortable truth: The inefficiency is profitable. Correspondent banks generate billions in fees annually from this opacity. Banks have no incentive to dismantle a system that reliably extracts margin from every transaction. The incentive to fix it lives entirely with the people paying the cost.

🧵A wire transfer is not technology. It's a chain of phone calls between banks pretending to cooperate. Here's what actually happens when you send $1,000 internationally and why it takes 3 days and costs more than it should.

Hot take: if your business can’t accept “local” payments globally, you’re leaving money on the table. Tools like Blaaiz giving you US bank details? That’s the kind of shift that quietly changes how small businesses scale.

What she's doing with her unregulated P2P Marketplace isn't wrong. It's what competent people do when proper infrastructure fails to show up. The problem isn't her solution. The problem is that her solution shouldn't have to be that complicated or that anxious.

🧵 An importer we know in Lagos has a system for paying her supplier in Turkey. She explained it to us carefully, like she was handing us something fragile. I want to tell you what she said. Because it's the reason we've been building for months.

Scale is a vanity metric if your infrastructure can't keep up. 🧵 Most founders waste 18 months building payment rails from scratch. The smart ones use the ”Blaaiz White Box." Blaaiz is the invisible infrastructure behind your favorite financial brands. ✅ Virtual Accounts ✅ Global Payments ✅ Compliance ✅ Live in days, not years Stop building the plumbing. Start building the brand. Watch how it works. 👇 #Fintech #BuildInPublic #BaaS #AfricanTech #Blaaiz

YOU DONT NEED ALL LICENSES TO RUN A FINTECH STARTUP. As a startup operating in the fintech space, you don’t need all the LICENSES from CBN, SEC, FCCP,FIRS to run your startup. You can partner with big fintechs and banks with those licenses to operate and they oversee. There are many fintech startups, a lot of them doing well operating under other banks until they have financial resources to pursue their own licenses. Even here in the UK, most popular remittances startups you know uses others licenses when they started. If you have an idea, go for it and don’t allow license burdens to hold you down.

@TosinOlugbenga This is a key point for early-stage fintech founders. You don’t start need to start with licenses, you start with access to compliant infrastructure and regulated partners. That’s how you move fast and stay within the rails. And at Blaaiz, we are built around exactly this model.
