Nowadays, It's just been a constant loop of fans complaining, talents not being happy, and every department head of hololive is apparently evil and terrible. What big project is there that I can be happy about without majority audience going "actually, its bad!"?

@Kurodemi1 In the worst case scenario that a trainee doesn't debut in hololive, they still spent 2 years under a major company giving them experience, connections, and a fanbase they can carry. That's very much different from just "deleting them".

@Kurodemi1 Low viewership alone has never really been the sole reason for a talent graduating. Also, fans follow and get attached to talents pre-debut despite uncertainty all the time. Their channel is already over 12k subs. We will follow, love, and cheer for these trainees regardless.

Of course, we won't know until it actually happens, but the way I interpreted the mekPark project is that it's not gonna be some brutal competition as many are claiming it to be, but more like an extension/next step to the original auditioning process; like an internship.

@Satell_S I predict that this training will lead them to successfully debut in Hololive no matter what, BUT in the end it's all up to the trainees themselves to decide "Did I like working in this environment within these 2 years? Should I commit to this? Did I like this?" etc. We'll see!🤔

@Nagi_Nyaaa I’m just worried we’ll have to watch some of these people’s dreams go up in flames when they don’t make it. That isn’t fun to watch. Experience and new following be damned, it just doesn’t seem like a good idea to put people in those kinds of situations. I guess we’ll see though.

With two whole years, I genuinely believe their absolute goal is for all the trainees to successfully debut in Hololive. Even if they don’t, they still leave with valuable experience (and a potentially new following) that they can carry over independently or into another group.

We have to admit that Hololive now is far more different and demanding than it was 5-6 years ago, so it makes sense Cover wants to ease these trainees into that environment first. Rather than just learning about the job at face value, are they capable of actually doing it?
