Gas is expensive, renewables are cheap (with data) Gas power currently £233/MWh (latest wkly avg) due to Putin's war; emits 0.4tCO2/MWh Onshore wind now ~£50/MWh after rapid cost reductions; emits zero CO2; supported by vast majority of UK, inc Tory voters, rural voters etc 🤷
